Two days before his Roseland Ballroom Fall 09 Ready-to-Wear runway show, Alexander Wang questioned the industry, "What does growing up mean for our girl?"

We were shown a luxurious side to his notorious edginess, with a collection enriched with tailoring but laced with a savage thread. Leathers fringed with foxtails and jackets edged in metal, all in sharp shades of black, white and grey. Studs, tights and belts were also prominent accessories throughout the 41-look collection.

Although Wang incorporated a new-found maturity to his collection, front-rowers still saw his models stomp down the runway with their accustomed-almost dangerous-sexiness.
